Learn to Turn
Mike’s passion for woodturning is contagious! This class is open to anyone who is willing to learn (and be covered in woodchips).
This class runs through the basics of the craft, choosing your wood, mounting it on the lathe, and getting busy as each turn slowly reveals a masterpiece!
Class cost includes individualized guidance, use of tools, and wood for your project. Each student will leave with (at minimum) a finished bowl. Time and skill depending, students may also leave with a pen or other small project.
Class sizes are kept at a minimum to ensure that every students gets the best possible experience and leaves satisfied with their finished work.
Note: Classes for students under 18 years old can be arranged upon request and must be accompanied by an adult.
